Bartlett Lake – 6/14 & 6/15

Water temp 79     Air temp 70

We started both days at 5.30 with top water Ricos. I’ve been trying the Rico suave lately. The top water action should start getting good. I’ve been slow rolling my spinner baits for a few weeks in 15 ft. of water getting some nice fish. That bite ends after a couple hours when the sun gets higher in the sky. Now it’s time to catch some fish on drop shot and Tex rigs and hula grubs. I tried a couple of new colors of 5150. Camo 6″ curly tails, morning dawn 6″ curly tails. Like always the green pumpkin candy curly tails are hard to beat. I now have these baits in my truck for sale. Friday and Saturday the fishing was a little slower than the beginning of the week. I think we had a high pressure system move in and a full moon. Maybe next week will get better. Good news saguaro lake is getting better with drop shot. Good luck out there and thanks for all of he kind words for my videos and fishing reports. Fishing with Gary Senft
