Roosevelt Lake – Monterey Bass Company Championship – 2/9/19

I fished a Texas rig jig and put a drop shot above that. The drop shot had a morning dawn and the Texas rig had a 4″ chompers green pumpkin hula grub. I was just trying to catch fish to put in the boat. This rig worked for me this time. Good luck out there guys.

So every once in a while…Diligence and preparation crosses paths with hard work and a little bit of luck, and you happen to find yourself at the right place and time along your journey.  Thanks to my partner Gary Senft for at least 3 of the aforementioned contributors…good luck has to play it’s role here and there too.  But in all seriousness, thanks buddy for putting in the time to find us a few places, combined with the right lures, and to the fish for eventually letting us in on the presentation.  Took a 3rd place in the MBC at Roosevelt in a field of 40+ boats and am truly grateful!  Barely missed big fish money as well…A huge shout out to my partner Gary, my family for supporting my addiction, and all those that have had my back throughout!  Thanks!
