Sunday, 1/12 had the pleasure of fishing with Jon. Caught a total of 25 crappie and 8 bass!Fish were 25-45 feet deep and lethargic. We used a graph to locate the crappie in trees. Fished with a very light sensitive pole with 4-6 lb. line with braid and a 4’ leader. Used 1/16 oz jig heads with 2” plastic baits of different colors (John Deere green, black chartreuse, and june bug chartreuse). All these colors are available at the Bass Pro Shop. Dress warm and fish slow, but you can catch them!
