Water temp 50. Air temp 32
On the drive in there was still snow on the side of the road and mountains around us. We decided to start fishing deep. Found the fish in the middle of the coves 40 to 50 feet on the bottom with shad 5 feet above the fish. We fished for these fish for 1 1/2 hours with no bites. Moved to the steep walls and drop offs and caught a few fish in 20 feet of water. We had a number of short strikes also. Then we moved around the lake fishing points and some Islands and got a few more fish.
Total 6 hours fishing. 5 fish caught, 10 bites missed, and 2 came of befor they got to he boat. I didn’t think this was to bad of a day fishing after a major cold front hit this state. It’s always a lot harder after the storm with a blue bird day. Thanks for visiting my website.
