Arrived at the lake 7.30am. Tried fishing some spinner baits and small crank baits wth no success. We started looking for shad and bass in the creek channels. All the fish we found were very deep 40 to 50 ft. We then started fishing steep drop offs with points close by. We started catching bass on Texas rig brush hogs, watermelon red. We also used 1/2 oz football jigs with Yamamoto hula grubs, green pumpkin. We ended up catching 16 bass.
