I got to take two young boys and there dad fishing today. We went up the lake right away to some large coves because of the wind blowing. We fished in 8 to 12 ft. of water with drop shot. They were bitting on watermelon with black flake all day. They were zoom 5 1/2″ and 5150 Plactic. We started at 7.30am to 12.30pm. The total caught was 23 bass. It was so much fun watching these boys get so excited catching all these bass on light tackle. The fish are really starting to bite better after they spawned. Good luck
