Went to Roosevelt lake today with Dr. John. Started with top water baits but we only got a few. We switched to white square bills and caught about 10 shallow. When the sun came up over the mountains we went to deep crankbaits and caught some bigger fish. We then went to brush hogs and drop shots and the bite was on. By the time it was 2 pm we caught 59 bass and missed a lot more. The lake is on the way to be a trophy bass lake, thanks to the game and fish for stocking Florida strain large mouth bass.
