Went to Saguaro Lake today for a half day of fishing with Jody. To beat the heat, we started at 5:30 am. We began fishing with Texas Rigs and Flick Shake using different color of baits but fish were slow to bite. Decided to switch to drop shot at 6:30 am and used 5150 PB&J and green pumpkin candy worms. Fish began to bite! Landed 19 bass, three over 5 lbs. and many 2.5 – 3 lbs.
